On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Weekend Fun and Games!

The food was delicious, the company delightful! The school cafeteria served up turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and apple cobbler. They did a fantastic job!

Friday noon

We drove up early this morning to watch her play the last game of the season. Then, immediately following her game, we drove to Dallas to watch Brady play soccer, but alas, we couldn't find the field and when we finally did, DH just wasn't up to the walk it would take to get there. So, we will try again at 4 this afternoon. In the meantime, Sara is headed for San Antonio with Noah for a soccer game there. These kids are all over the place.

My dear friend Alice's oldest granddaughter is just about to become a married lady! Isn't she stunning? Alice sent me a preview.

Love those school lunches. We are fresh out of them here now. However, I might get one if I drive 6+ hours south!
We have done a lot of running with kids' games, too.
The bride is stunning!!! xo Diana

Oh Nonnie, those beautiful days with children at school I love it. That is a beautiful picture of you, DH and your granddaughter. Wow, you need lots of cars going and coming for all those games. LOL. The bride is going to be so gorgeous. Blessings, enjoy the weekend, xoxo, Susie

I too remember those school day lunches. The bride is gorgeous. You two are the best grandparents - you try to be there for all your grandchildren - they have to love it. sandie

That is a beautiful wedding gown (and bride)! It is so great that you are able to get to some of the kids' games. I know it means a lot to them that you are there to see them play!
