On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Friday Foto Friends

Having faithful friends is indeed a treasure and Bible Study Fellowship is one of the places you can make new friends. Here is our group this past Wednesday at our first fellowship. We had a most wonderful time together in the beautiful home of our hostess, Barbara!

This past week we also celebrated DH's birthday, but it was very low key as he doesn't wish to be reminded that he is getting older. Bless his heart. I am thankful he is still around to celebrate and enjoy the chicken fried steak, cherry pie, chocolate cake, white cake, the Nothing Bundt Cake and Razzleberry pie. Just thinking about all that this week almost makes me ... well, you know.

Happy Birthday to my happy guy!

It is a beautiful rainy day here today and everything is still green and lush. Even my bougainvillea decided it would bloom.

This past week in BSF we were studying John 2, the wedding event in Cana where the host had run out of wine. Mary took that problem to Jesus and we can take every problem we have to Him, too. He is the best friend of all.

Hi Nonnie; A belated happy birthday to to your DH. I always enjoy seeing happy family get together photos. By the way you asked if a train goes through the Poconos. Here is an url you can check out with all the info. http://www.lgsry.com - It is a wonderful ride especially in Autumn. Have a day of blessings.

What a great celebration, and I understand about all that awesome food....lol. So glad we can take everything to Jesus. I've had to give Him this situation with my husband's injury and job. Thanks for linking up today. Hope you have a great weekend!
