It is just about the middle of June now and time for another Wednesday Hodgepodge.
1. What happens to the mail at your house?
If it is not something to be filed in the file folder, then it is promptly placed here:
Unless it's something that needs to be shredded.
2. Something you always splurge on?
Hmmmmm. I don't mind spending a good amount on clothes since I seldom buy trendy clothes and I wear my clothes for-evah!!! Sad to say though, most of the time I'm wearing tee-shirts and jeans or shorts.
Any guilt associated with the splurge? Sometimes, but if it is something I really like and know I will wear it often, then no.
3. There are many, but what are two important questions you think every bride and groom should ask/answer before they plan their walk down the aisle?
Long before taking that walk, the questions that need to be answered are the ones relating to commitment, money, children and most importantly, being clear about their faith and commitment to the Lord. I know. That's four.
4. What's the best advice your father ever gave you?
Tell the truth.
5. Your favorite movie where a father features heavily in the storyline?
I can think of a few, but I know when I read everyone's answers, I will slap my forehead and wonder why I didn't think of that!! But here goes a few I love. I never can settle on just one.
Atticus Finch
Loved Tevye - he loved his God and his girls.
A Dad Everybody Loved
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Father's Day! My Dad.
I think we kinda look alike.

Love Tevye! What a great movie.
You and your dad have the same smile. How nice. Loved your movie choices.
Yeah you sure DO look alike!! And I wish I had thought of Atticus Finch! It was hard to keep those pre marriage questions to just two, wasn't it! Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Nonnie, I love the pictures of your handsome father. You favor. I like the fathers figures you chose too. My dad told me to think things through, before doing. I miss him. I look at my sons-inlaw and my granddaughter's husband, and I think what wonderful fathers..that makes me so happy. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
I had to smack my forehead when I read your answer to the movie fathers. Tevye is one of my favorites. Thanks for the reminder. I didn’t necessarily like the character played by Spencer Tracy in my answer but I did like the movie. What a precious comparison picture of you and your dad. He was a handsome man and you sure do favor him. Enjoyed all your answers today.
I can definitely see a resemblance to your dad...you have the same smile. Great answers today...and yes, the father in To Kill a Mockingbird was a great example. Enjoy the rest of your week!
My very favorite movie of all times is It's a wonderful life. i WATCH IT EVERY Christmas. I can tell you sure did love your dad. I think the thing I spurge the most on - is food - we do go out to eat a lot. And I agree - when people get married - talk about faith and be together on it - that will be what holds the marriage together.

Tevye, I can almost hear him singing. We had a wonderful production here in our little theater, and the actor who played him did a wonderful job. Tell the truth, a great lesson.
Enjoyed reading your answers and I love your movie choices. Love your random!!
