On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Christmas Memories 2017 and Let's Wrap This UP!

It is now history, but memorializing bits and pieces of the memories of this now Christmas past.

As I do annually, I baked a cheesecake for Jason's birthday to take to the fire station. It is tradition that the birthday person must provide cake, ice cream or some other dessert for the crew that day. His favorite is cheesecake which I make each year for him, along with blueberry sauce. So happy it turned out good.

Love these Christmas mits from a friend
and I think I will use them all year long!

A Christmas cactus for daughter-in-law whose
beloved Grandma passed away two days before Christmas.

Christmas Day Delights in our part of the world.

He wanted a real tool set.

All ready for work.

So Dad let him help assemble this workshop stool.

She wanted a lab coat!

Play station 4

TRAMPOLINE!!
Mom and Dad worked outside in bitter cold temps to put this thing together for the kids.

Some of us braved the cold for a bit.
Jack's strange expression is due to a mouth full of bubble gum!

Meanwhile, Christmas Day in Southern Oklahoma.

And in Northern Oklahoma

And in Virginia!

The day after Christmas, more fun at our house.

Cold weather just doesn't seem to faze them.

They all love Annie.

Blessings, blessings, blessings!

And to all a good night!

So it may be way below freezing here, but never mind that!
This is a tough group!
A hunting we will go!

Let's hold on and see what 2018 brings! The Lord brought us through a whole lotta stuff this past year, and we will trust in His continuing care and provision for everything we face ... everything we need. His mercies are new every morning ... His love is unfailing.
