Did somebody say Blue Monday?
Three years ago we took a train trip to the West from Chicago to Salt Lake City, then up to Glacier Park, Montana, making stops along the way. It was a great and beautiful adventure. The train rides were 35 and 40 hours long. If you ever decide to take the Silver Streak from Chicago and back, be sure to get a bedroom. Everything else is too small. We were very grateful and others on the train were envious of the space we had. And I'm not kidding, the space we had on the train, even with its own little bathroom, wasn't as big as our master bedroom closet at home! (The train ride back to Chicago from Glacier Park was the Zephyr.)
Old Faithful
The Grand Tetons
Spectacular, don't you think?

We went to Yellowstone when our kids were little, met family there and had SUCH a great time. Now, I would like to go back....
I always wanted to take one of these train tours! Beautiful photos. I saw a video about the Orient Express and their compartments aren't much bigger than you describe.
Had the pleasure of seeing this a few years ago. It is a fascinating place. In fact, I lost part of my camera walking over one of the wooden paths.
Spectacular is an understatement!! WOW!!!
Those are great photos! I've always wanted to see the sights out west. Glad you got to make that trip.

Gorgeous shots. Very cute Blue boy. I'm following you. I linked too. Come over and visit!
Hello Nonnie, What crazy cloud formations. Love them.
We have been to Glacier Park and Yllowstone. Our trip was a driving trip for about 6 weeks. I haven't been on a long train trip. I think I would like it n spite of the small rooms.
Happy Blue Monday,
xo,
Jeanne
Thanks for coming over. I didn't realize your in Texas. I'm in DFW. We are in an apartment 2nd floor. I am battling the sun. We'll see how long I can manage to keep everything alive! Have a great week.
