On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Pink Saturday ... and Dwelling

Today I'm linking up for Pink Saturday with How Sweet the Sound.

Ignorance is bliss
She couldn't read the sign that said,
don't pick the flowers.

How sweet to live in a vine covered
cottage surrounded by flowers ... but it isn't mine.
The garden is marked "Private."

Or maybe a charming little house on a lovely avenue.
(No parking here.)

I found this sign to be quite interesting while on a walk the other day.
No soliciting! ... We have found Jesus ... Please Go Away!
And underneath!! Oh, the irony here. It says "Welcome."

There won't be any signs in Heaven such as "Don't pick the flowers ... Private ...
or marked "No Parking." It will be welcoming and ours to enjoy ... completely
and forever.

Pink Impact Women's Conference last weekend was on the theme of "Dwelling." How comforting to know that the Spirit of the God of all creation dwells within His kids now, His Church, and that one day He will dwell with us forever.

We are no longer slaves
We are the children of God.

The joy of the Lord is my strength!
