On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

School Days Calling

School Days for the boys. First day of school picture for Brady and Noah. These two are the sweetest. They played a soccer tournament this past weekend and Noah was on fire blocking goals and making some fantastic kicks! Way to go, Noah!

With Porter

and Palin

Seems it was only yesterday they were out having a blast on the lake
just about every. single. day!
Oh! It was yesterday!
Summer flew by in a flash!

Great wakeboarders.

Kate and Jack don't start school until next week, however, Mom did this week, so they are spending time with us and Nana. Kate went to church with me last night to help me in preschool. She said it would be good practice because she wants to be a teacher someday. The kids were precious and loved her. One little boy even invited us to come to his house for steak!! Haha! So sweet.

This morning we woke up again - third time in less than a week -
to rainstorms! Loving it and the grass is still green and plants are still in bloom.
That makes me and the crape myrtle tickled pink!!

And I discovered Esperanza this year! Gonna plant some in the ground next year! This stuff is fabulous!

Still deciding what to do today. Kate woke up in the night with sore throat and earache. Our plans to go swimming today will not happen and with the rain that came, that works out just fine. Thank You, Lord. She's just enjoying a relaxing day and it's all good. Some days it's just good to chill. Her first request yesterday was to go back to Dave and Busters again. I'm glad we did that yesterday afternoon. She had so much fun and won enough tickets for a better prize and also some little boy came up to us to give us a stuffed animal. Wasn't that nice?

Ready to hit the mall again today

I will say I hope they enjoy school and that it is a good experience - Andy loves school. Your grandchildren are precious.

Such a blessing for those adorable children and for you two! We were so far away from our grands at that age and we missed so much. Enjoy!
