On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Fun Friday

Friday was a productive and enjoyable day. After breakfast I baked the vegan chocolate chip cookies, did a few other chores, and we began to work on the taxes! A major ordeal since I have never done taxes before. Although we waded into it together, we had to quit around noon after running into a couple of dilemmas. Will get back to them on Monday. I had other things on my list of things to do, but I guess they too will have to wait until Monday. Voting will be at the top of that list.

Later in the afternoon we decided to go investigate a new park to take the kids to play. The weather was perfect and it was wonderful watching children in the park having so much fun.

More hints of Spring

Remember these?

My sister and brother are just sitting in the above photo. But I remember how we would spin these things so fast and then jump on. It's a wonder we didn't kill ourselves.

A new improved, updated version of the old merry go round we played on in the park

Two for the See-Saw?

 Here it's built for four

 Swings for big people

All in all, a great park to visit and I can't wait to
take the kids to play and have a picnic!

The rosy sunset was a lovely end to a beautiful day.

  1. Jealous you have daffodils blooming, but just saw mine are starting to sprout, even though it's rather early here. They will probably end up covered in snow!
