Pink Saturday and a Birthday Celebration

Closer to home, though ...

And, today, ta-da!! We celebrate Kate who is just a few days short of being 8 years old! Now this little girl has a reputation for being early! She was supposed to arrive on October 15 eight years ago, HOWEVER, guess she just couldn't wait and so she came two months early to the day! We were so happy to greet this teeny-tiny baby girl! 

Once a cute little bundle has now grown and blossomed into a super smart, super sweet, amazing little girl!

The big birthday party is scheduled for today due to their moving to a new house in the next week or so, and we will celebrate again on her actual birthday. I honestly don't see how the "super parents" are able to squeeze in everything with a move about to happen, packing, buying new furniture, shopping for school supplies, making improvements to the new house, working, and a birthday party today! Whew!!! That makes me tired.
