On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Records

When I am with our grandkids,
Brady
Noah

Kate
Jack

I think how wonderful it would be to have a record of all
that they do, or say,
their expressions,
reactions.
But it just isn't possible for me to do that.
Doncha' love it that that isn't a problem for God with us?

O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.
You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, Lord.
You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!

Psalm 139:1-6 NLT

The very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Matthew 10:30

What adorable, sweet faces those grandkiddos have! It would be lovely to bottle them all up. I wish I had more of my own kids young years also kept in a special place. Well, actually I do..in my heart. I'm glad for a loving Heavenly Father who won't forget me and hopefully I can always remember his gifts to me and be thankful daily. Have a good week!

You're so right about having them in your heart. But I feel I'm forgetting so much. I just want to capture it all.

What sweet faces...I'm so blessed to have 9 grandchildren and another on the way, and 2 little great grandsons. They melt my heart! I have always love Psm. 139 and put it to memory several years ago.

I know what you mean - I think sometimes to stop and take a mind picture. I hope their images stay with me forever.

There are definitely sweet moments we wish we could "freeze frame", and some we wish we could "fast forward" through...I love those verses.
