On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Friday Foto Friends

Friday Foto Friends!

For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea,
An eternal decree, so it cannot cross over it.
Though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail;
Though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it.
(Jeremiah 5:22)

The two pics above are from a friend who is traveling along the Pacific coastline.
These are from Oregon.

Clouds ... so pretty

Jack in the pool

and getting a tan.
Not sure where he picked that one up at 6
wanting to get a tan. When asked, he told me
his Dad is tan and so is Brady. Lol!

He saved this tiny gecko which was trying to get in the house.
I knew it would die inside.

Getting ready to let it go.

When is the last time you saw a set of these?

Oh, how I miss encyclopedias. I know we have a wealth of knowledge at our fingertips with Google and all kinds of resources via the Internet, but there's NOTHING like having a book in your hand. I can still remember the smell of opening up those books in the library...sweet memory. Thanks for sharing your fotos and linking up today...HOPE you have a great weekend.

I loved encyclopedias and read them like books when I was a kid. lol I started with The Little Golden Book Encyclopedias. They were wonderful-colorful and full of easy facts.

Those are great pictures of family and nature. My one grandson spent our whole vacation catching and releasing salamanders. lol xo Diana

Lovely photos.
How cute is Jack! I think it's the nicest thing that he saved the gecko! They are so tiny.
The Geico commercials made me partial to them.

The gecko is cute for a reptile. My husband's daughter lived in Hawaii, and had one living in the house. He hung out on the walls and ate bugs.

Love the pictures, and glad your little one rescued the gecko! Yes, they WILL die in the house...one way or the other! Oh my, encyclopedias! I do miss our World Book set. We used them so much with the kids when they were little, and I loved reading about so many places and people. Yes, the computer is wonderful, but just not the same as a book! Have a blessed day!!

Love all the photos, the little guy sunning himself on the chair and then, holding the little gecko and letting it go...he is so doggone cute!
I always ADORED my encyclopedia set growing up, you have reminded me that I need to post about it. THANK YOU!
Blessed Sunday to you. x

What beautiful fotos. And what a cutie pie you have there. Does anyone still have sets of encyclopedias? That's one of those things that mom and dad had and is not worthless. Sad, because there are some things the computer just can't replace.
