Seems to come around way too quickly these days. The mornings have been pleasant so far and hopefully that will continue until I really get this walking thing down good. It's been over two weeks now and so it appears to be a part of my morning routine. Map My Walk registered two miles today!!
This crape myrtle is one of the prettiest on my route. It's just thick with blooms and stands out amongst all the others around it.
Last Friday Jason invited us to go to the lake with them and we had a wonderful time. He found a sandy beach for us where we all just enjoyed playing and swimming. Their dog Heidi enjoys the boat and the water.
This is my end of the boat!
A little tug of war with Heidi's stick
The sand is not too bad for a Texas lake ... much better than a rocky beach.
Hold on to your hair! I think Daddy has the boat going full throttle.
Jack didn't like his hair swept back by the wind.
Not bothering Dad at all with his new haircut.
Kate is learning to steer the boat and taking it very seriously!
At the end of a very fun day!
This past weekend we celebrated our Senior Pastor Gerald and Geni's 40th wedding anniversary with a little party after church. Love these two! They are humble, faithful, energetic, ministers and have been with the church from its beginning 34 years ago. Mature beyond their years in leadership and pastoring - both of them. Geni is the Children's Pastor.
Saturday evening sunset.
