On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Another Day

I found this among some old letters and photos the other morning. I like it and as I read it, thought of many people I lift up in prayer each day. I have found this to be true in my life. It is His light that dispels the darkness as I wait. And as we wait, we grow stronger.

And yesterday afternoon as we drove over to our son's house, you couldn't help noticing  the drastic change of the cornfields as they looked back in June!

They were so pretty and green.

And now they're all burned up.

The weeds in front manage to stay green!

Thanks for sharing the poem, Connie.

The poor corn. It looks the same way here. How is it that the weeds can be so green while the corn is so bad looking?

Have a blessed day!

Thank you for sharing this poem...such words of encouragement and hope during a difficult season for many. I am sad to see the corn crop so dry and brown. May God send His help and showers of blessing for all affected.
