On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Pink Saturday

Flowers at Market Street

Brought to you by the skies at our house!

The credits all belong to God!

Doves aren't pink, but they are sweet. The second set of baby doves has now been gently pushed out of the nest and are not only flying, but they spend a lot of time resting on our deck. Wherever they sit, they leave cute little messes. Oh well, they are fun to watch and I have a hose nearby to clean the "poop deck." Although I love watching them fly, I haven't been able to get a good photo of them in their flight.

Here's a sight I bet you've never seen before.

You may have heard of what is known as a "bread line"
but probably never bread on a line!

We don't eat bread every day, so I store it in the freezer until needed and then put it out in time to thaw before use. One day I promised DH bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches for lunch, but I forgot to get the bread out of the freezer. So, I took out a few slices, put them in a zip lock bag, pulled out my retractable clothesline, and hung them out to thaw! It did not take long before the bread was perfect and perfectly fresh for our sandwiches. Hehe! Where there's a will, there's a way.

Now that is a new idea for me. In the past hung different things on a cloths line, but never bread.

I love all your photos, but the one with the white fence is just gorgeous. I miss the smell of bed sheets dried on the clothesline.

Love your beautiful Pink flower photos!! If I put food out on the line (even in a zip lock) the birds would have it gone in minutes!! Love the idea though! Blessings, Cindy xo

I think if I hung bread out like that the squirrels would figure out a way to get it! That picket fence with the pink flowers is so pretty.
