That's exactly what Brady and Noah got the other day when they called Grandpa and Nonnie on Face Time. Nonnie answered the phone in the old-fashioned way and, in her excitement at hearing their voices, totally overlooked (duh) that had she been paying attention, she could have been enjoying their beautiful faces. After about five minutes of good conversation, she thought to invite Grandpa to the fun and discovered the boys had been looking deep inside her ear the whole time!!!
Well, well. Dark in there!!! |
They thought that was pretty funny!
It's much more fun to have a conversation on Face Time when you actually get to see faces!
(The pics have been edited to erase the corner pic of Grandpa and Nonnie, who are not so cute!)
Real Time
Today was "What do you want to be when you grow up? day at Kate's school. Her answer? A Mommy. So, we took her to school dressed like her Mommy. Black top and jeans, pushing her baby in the pink stroller and purse/diaper bag over her shoulder.
Meanwhile, Jack:
Still likes to get into the hand cream (Swollen lip from the fall off the treehouse) |
Still making faces |
Still screams for ice cream! |
Why are these kind of temptations the first thing you see when you walk into a restaurant
or the last thing as you leave the store?
I think we all know the answers to those questions.

Every time I start to FaceTime I see my face and it scares me to death! Those kids are too cute!!
I don't even know what FaceTime is....I have a dumb phone...HaHa
Love that she wanted to be a mommy ~ how sweet!!! How noble!!
your EAR?! Too funny!! We tried FaceTime for the very first time last week. It WAS fun, but I've decided I would have liked it much better many years ago when I still had the youthful glow. Most times I'd rather folks be looking inside MY ear, than at my face, but it sure is fun to see the family when they live so far away!
This entire blog has made me smile, start to finish!! Thank you for sharing the fun with us.
Oh, how wonderful! This had me chuckling and smiling all the way through. There are some great things about modern technology!
Loved the story Nonnie! So cute! Precious pictures of the grands too!
