Our plans for the day after church were to have lunch, attend an aquaponics meeting
I figured Kate would have been pretty upset about Jack's accident and she was. But Amy told me that she immediately told Mommy she was praying to ask Jesus to heal Jack. Sweet.
Kate and I made a stop at Mickey D's on our way home to feed her some lunch and let her play a little. As luck would have it, there was another 5 year old girl there named Isabella Hope. She and Kate had a great time playing together.
Sweet girls |
Awwwww, gee, they all smiled. That is so sweet!
Isabella's Mom and sister thought that was pretty adorable.
Now, for about 15 minutes Isabella's Mom had been trying
to get the girls out of there, but Isabella would cry and Mom would give in.
So finally, she tells them "we're leaving."
Isabella did her crying thing again and while she cried,
Kate began to write another note. I suspected it was a note of comfort.
She finished the note, walked over to Isabella, and held up her note pointing to the words.
Isabella's Mom and sister burst out laughing.
Huh???
Here's Kate's note:
Stop Whining!!!! (Okay - so Kate is only 5 and still spelling with phonics) |
I thought this was hilarious!!
P.S. We are waiting to hear how Jack is doing. He is still at the hospital.

I love it! "Stop Whining". She was raised right. Hope Jack's ok and isn't too sore from the fall.
I loved your story today! Stop whining - adorable! Sure hope Jack's lip doesn't require too many stitches, poor baby. Please keep us posted!! I said a prayer, too!
That is SO CUTE!! And she is smart to be writing at such a young age! My son who's 27 now, once wrote a note when he was 6 and slid it under the door - after he was sent to his room as a punishment - that said, "Where does the Bible say you can be mean to a little kid?"
I pray Jack's lip heals quickly. that is so painful.
There is nothing like grandchildren, is there. So glad you are close enough to enjoy yours. Thanks for visiting my blog, and yes I agree the more pieces of clothing the more confusing it can be. That's why I recommend wardrobe capsules and outfit uniforms.
I hope Jack is better.(love his name!) From the mouth of babes! So cute and funny. Gotta love the wisdom!
I hope and pray Jack is better. Those notes are precious, and the whining one is hilarious! She's one smart (and wise) little girl~
Oh, my sides are hurting from laughing....What precious notes on napkins. Hope Jack is better soon. Thanks for making my day!!
Now THAT'S a story!!!! LOL. Stashia and I both had a good laugh over this. Too funny!! Please update us on Jack - poor guy!
I hope Jack is okay. Those notes your granddaughter wrote are hysterical! Kids can be so honest, it is refreshing :)
