Wow! DH surprised me last night after our little "daily date."
After turning off the show we were watching, he wanted me to show him
where to find the satellite stations that play music.
I found an oldies rock station that was playing "Poor Side of Town"
sung by Johnny Rivers.
He turned to me and said, "Wanna dance?" Okay!
We danced around the room,
made it through the song
and both sat down panting!!!
But it was sweet.

Oh my, I'm just loving this. Since I just watched a romantic chick flick the other day ~ I would love to be danced around the floor. Your cartoon is just too cute.

I was having a discussion tonight about how love changes as we get older..it's something many young people don't take the time to ever know...they give up when times are tough and move on. You just described how much fun and how much love we can enjoy as we get older...like a fine wine that just improves with time. As the song goes: "If you get the choice to sit it out or dance....just dance"
