On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Blue Monday

Some of our pretty blue skies these past two weeks.

We had thunderstorms on Friday morning and rain most of the day, but the weekend was absolutely perfect. I am so sorry for the people on the East coast who have been through the horrible storms this weekend and prayers for the families of those who lost loved ones. That is so horrific.

Tomorrow I will be having cataract surgery on my left eye, so this week may find me resting my eye so I can see close up all those people at my husband's 55th class reunion this Saturday!

Have a wonderful Monday and a beautiful week!

  1. Good morning, your sky shares are very beautiful. I am grateful too, to be in an area where we have not been devastated by nature. My prayers are with all those who lost loved ones and everything else in their lives. These storms are so unpredictable and dangerous. I am following you but this blogger keeps switching me up. I am never sure if it will take me back to my blog or somewhere else. I don't like all the new changes. Appreciate your share for Blue Monday and hope you have a terrific week.

  2. Beautiful sky photos Nonnie. My prayers are with you for your cataract surgery. I've had it in both eyes and my eyes are fine 20-20 vision. You'll be fine too. :)

  6. Such a pretty sky! Just wish you had sent some of that rain to the east of you. We haven't had any in months. Trusting your surgery went well yesterday and you will be the belle of the ball on Saturday.

  7. Good morning Nonnie, Your blue skies made me smile. Two of our daughters live in Fl about an hour from the coast. One lives in Jacksonville and one in Orlando. They both came through the storm with only minor problems. The one in Jax lost power and there was more damage and loss of trees in her area. Falling trees and flooding was the biggest problem. I too am praying for the lives lost in the storm and so much destruction. Especially in Hatti.

I am sending best wishes for your eye surgery. My sister had her eye done last week and is doing fine.

    Happy Blue Monday.
    xo, Jeanne
