On Eagle's Wings

On Eagle's Wings
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

I love, I love my little calendar girl ... and boys

Sad to turn the page on the calendar from the month of August to September.

But another couple of cuties await on the September page.

Speaking of turning,
Brady is turning 7 this month. Yikes!

and ... back to school for Brady and Noah.
They were excited, looking forward to it, and ready!

Backpacks on and poised for a great day!

With Mom and Dad

And their buddies

Can you see the anticipation in their poses?

Noah loved school so much that first day, he wanted to stay! Wishin' he could have stayed that day, because when he got home, he just couldn't resist - yes, that stack of wood there on the driveway for the new fence was just too great a temptation for a 5 year old boy who also likes to play hard and jump!

Big owwee!

Looks like our weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge will have to wait until this boy is ready to go.

Can't keep a good man down.

First game of the season.
Hook 'em Horns!

Those pics are adorable..but holy cow, a broken leg? I hope his classroom is not on an upper level! I'm glad it happened after the summer break (no pun intended!) although I'm really sorry it happened at all! I hope he's feeling good and he'll have something fun to look forward too after the cast is off!
